This kit is designed for moving the battery to the trunk, improving weight distribution which is important to drag racers. It means less clutter in the engine compartment and helps provide better traction. It will even contribute to improved braking and less understeer in hard turns for oval racers and ralliers. When you stuff your battery in a Moroso sealed battery box, you can locate it just about anywhere you want on your vehicle and not worry about water, dirt, dust, etc. ruining it. Accepted by the NHRA and IHRA, these tough polyethylene boxes have an airtight lid, with a foam gasket to keep battery gasses from entering your car's interior (six quick-release fasteners keep the lid on tight).
